So what’s it look like?
Basically, your group (usually ~30 or less) meet up at a scenic outdoor spot. The officiant leads a short wedding ceremony and makes it legal, the couple kisses, and everyone claps/cries. After the ceremony, the photographer takes some photos of the two of you and your group, then you all head to a local restaurant for drinks and cheer. And if you have your sights set on something a bit more traditional, my resources can still help! The true beauty of a microwedding is the flexibility—there are no rules :)
What?
There is no set definition for a “microwedding” or “elopement.” Typically, it is a simple, intimate wedding that opts for a more casual, contemporary vibe.
who?
These weddings range from just the couple to 30 guests or more. My resources are best for couples who are willing to get hands-on with their wedding planning, but need a little guidance.
Where?
Anywhere in the world! These weddings tend to avoid the price tag and stress associated with traditional wedding venues. Instead, couples often opt for a local park, beach, mountaintop, monument, or backyard.
When?
Whenever! I help couples plan weddings ranging from less than a week in advance to more than a year. Unlike traditional wedding, the timing is flexible.
